The electronic patient record becomes mandatory in Switzerland
The aim of the electronic patient record (EPR) is to facilitate access to medical information, strengthen the quality of medical treatment and increase the efficiency of the healthcare system in the next years. But the mandatory introduction of the EPR in Switzerland poses major challenges for health care institutions. By 2020, hospitals and, by 2022, other service providers will have to collect, provide and make available treatment-relevant data in the EPR.
As a specialist in identity and access management and with long-term customer relationships in the medical sector, almanid is familiar with the requirements of the EPR. Our core competence is in the management, maintenance and administration of the Health Provider Directory (HPD). In addition to the central patient dossier, the HPD and the Master Patient Index (MPI) are the main components of the EPR.
We focus on individual customer needs in the EPD environment and combine the latest developments in eHealth and IT. To achieve the individual needs of our customers, we have developed three packages for a cost-effective and successful integration of EPR compliant identity management.
Since we have made it our mission to provide our customers with the best possible support in the implementation of the EPR, we partner with you throughout the project and provide in-depth consulting, professional project management, tailor-made training and technical support.
We would like to create a software and service package that is individually tailored to your needs. If you have questions or would like more information, contact us at any time and without obligation.
